Kareena Kapoor is back with a bang along with her badass veeres in Veere Di Wedding. A Rhea Kapoor production, the movie is a dramatic comedy that has been rightly titled 'The Biggest Wedding of the Year'. The movie centres around four friends going through the ups and downs of marriage, divorce and friendships. The cast also features Swara Bhaskar, Sonam Kapoor and Shikha Talsania.

Now let's talk about the part every girl is waiting to hear about - the gorgeous outfits! What do you really expect when the fashion goddess Sonam Kapoor and stylist sister Rhea Kapoor get together. We don't know about you, but we are surely waiting for the movie with bated breath.

From the first teaser of the movie, we absolutely love the bright summery sorbet hues. In the photos, we have Kareena Kapoor sporting a warm yellow embellished lehenga.

Sonam Kapoor complements her look in a chirpy yellow off-shoulder lehenga with emerald green danglers.

Always the one for playing offbeat roles, Swara Bhaksar shines with her chic hairstyle (#hairgoals) and Shikha Talsania looks lovely in a delicate peach-orange hued lehenga. All the wedding outfits in the movie have been designed by the fabulous designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.

Our take: We bet tangerine will be the most trending colour for brides this coming wedding season along with festive shades of yellows and greens. If you are a bride-to-be or a bridesmaid, be on the lookout for lehengas and indo-western gowns in these shades.

2. Traditional with a Twist

The song 'Bhangra Ta Sajda' has a lively and vibrant feel to it. Giving a nod to Bohemian fashion, there are a lot mix and match outfits.

While Swara Bhaskar aces it in a colourful Gota Patti zigzag patterned lehenga with a denim jacket, Kareena Kapoor looks fashionable in a ruffled blouse with a plunging neckline. Her chunky silver bracelet and statement Maang Tikaa are to the point.

Similarly, Sonam Kapoor's look is vivid and cheerful with a mirror work skirt and a heavily embellished blouse. On the other hand, Shikha's Talsania's mirror work lehenga gives a very Rajasthani vibe with lots of bright violets, blues, reds and magenta. Don't miss the delicate nose pin worn by her which is subtle yet pretty at the same time.

The song 'Tareefan' has an uber glamorous and provocative vibe to it. Swara Bhaskar's luxe velvet coat dress in maroon paired with golden boots, Sonam Kapoor's dress with a black ruffled train and Kareena Kapoor's shimmering green gown all set a high bar for fashion goals.

Our take: Go bold or go home for your Cocktail function. Pick one detail from the song and go uber glam with your look. Think chic makeup, lots of metallic details, animal prints, feather skirts and glamorous gowns. Complete the look with loose, mermaid curls with lots of makeup.

Bonus: The Gender Bender

This poster of the Veere Di Wedding has all the actresses donning ivory and gold sherwanis with perfectly wrapped safas dancing under the shower of rose petals. This looks like an unforgettable baraat moment. While the girls are wearing sherwanis, they haven't lost their feminine touch; they look super graceful even in men's outfit.

Our take: If you are a bride-to-be, why not adopt this look for your Mehendi function? Think a Safa or Pagdi worn with men's clothing. It will surely be the talking point for many years to come.
